"I'm Mariana and I'm from Arkansas! I came up here with my 5 puppies.

I'm just a sweet girl who loves attention! I walk well on a leash and enjoy my time walking! The volunteers on the farm tell me I'm a beautiful momma! They make me blush!

I may be a mom, but I've raised my kids and I'm still so young! Now I'm ready to be your best gal! We can go hiking, hang out, share a pizza (oops, I mean you can share a pizza with friends, I'll eat my food), catch a game, or whatever! I'm down for anything! Come meet me today! �This week's $5 Friday is dedicated to Jack, a 3-year-old Beagle / Boston Terrier mix. Jack was dumped at a high kill shelter in Tennessee with a life-threatening skin infection and loaded with parasites. He is receiving treatment for the parasites, daily antibiotics, and medicated baths twice weekly until his hair grows back.

Unfortunately, many dogs who are dumped at kill shelters in the south don't make it out, especially if they have any sort of medical condition. This is mainly because the shelters can't afford to treat them and it makes the dogs "less adoptable".

We are so happy we were able to save Jack from the shelter in the south to give him a second chance at finding a forever family!

Despite everything he has gone through, Jack is such a sweet and friendly dog! He is quickly turning into a volunteer favorite.
Please consider giving up your expensive coffee or lunch out this Friday to give $5 (or more) to Greenmore. We wouldn’t be able to continue our life-saving work for dogs like Jack without you!

Oh hey there! I'm Benji. I'm a little bit shy. When I first came to the farm I was a little fearful. But now that I know I'm safe, I'm letting people see my fun side! Do you like my shaggy fur? I'm told it's super cute and trendy. And I don't know what the "land of misfit toys" is, but supposedly I'd fit right in. It's all part of my charm and will surely make you smile!

I really love going on walks, alone or with other dogs! When it's my turn I get very wiggly and excited! And wait until you see my little ears flop around as I trot! I feel more confident every day and can't wait to find a forever home!

My name is Mario. I'm quite shy and timid right now. But I'm working on it!! I need someone to be patient with me while I continue to come out of my shell.

The volunteers at the farm say I'm going to be a great companion dog before too long! I really enjoyed having a bath! Don't I look handsome!? I like walking around the farm with other dogs. I think it might be nice to live with one! Do you have extra love and patience to meet me where I am? I'm not just a cute face, I'm destined to be the goodest boy! Just wait and see!

�This week's $5 Friday is dedicated to Bo. This poor guy was found dumped on a backroad in Kentucky in rough shape. He just arrived at Greenmore this week with a long list of medical issues including Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Lyme, Anaplasmosis, tons of Intestinal Parasites, and a serious skin infection.

We have already started to provide him with the medical care he desperately needs including treatment for Heartworm, which can be expensive. He will be nursed back to health by the love and care from our volunteers and staff. The estimated cost of his vet bills for treatment will be $1,800+.

Despite everything he has gone through, Bo is so sweet and gentle. We can't wait to watch his transformation as he heals and eventually finds his forever family.

�This week's $5 Friday is dedicated to Flynn! Flynn is one lucky dog. An amazing family found Flynn while on vacation in North Carolina, he was deep in the woods at Lake Gaston. He looked hot and hungry! They called a nearby shelter to pick him up. After his stray hold was up, we pulled him from the shelter in NC (a high-kill shelter) and he went on a rescue ride to Greenmore.

Once Flynn arrived at Greenmore, we provided him with medical care and shelter. Shortly after his arrival, we received a message from the family who originally found him. They wanted to adopt him!

After their application was approved, the family came to Greenmore from Maryland to be reunited! It was happy tears all around and Flynn, now Gaston Flynn Flores, (named after the lake where he was found) found his forever home.
