Porchlight Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based out of Richmond, Virginia with a mission of saving the lives of animals by providing sanctuary and inspiring compassionate action through education and outreach. Porchlight will be a permanent home for previously farmed animals, where they can live in peace and safety, and will be given the health care and compassion that they deserve. Our community education center will focus on challenging the culture of animal abuse and exploitation while improving the accessibility of an animal-friendly lifestyle. We're currently raising funds in order to acquire land to start the sanctuary with the goal of welcoming our first residents in 2019.
