Theo is an almost five year old beagle mix. Theo may be small but he is full of personality! Theo is the perfect mix of play and hangout with his peeps. Theo has just started learning to make doggie friends and he thinks he likes it. Theo is still learning how to be the best boy he can be and will need a home where his people can work with him on that. Theo does have some on leash reactivity towards other dogs and minor resource guarding so he would do best in a home with teens and older. Theo has a prey drive and will chase cats, so a feline free home is needed.

Theo is ready to bounce (he loves spikey bounce balls) with a waived adoption fee, crate, martingale, harness, leash, training treats and toys! Can't adopt? Theo would happily take a foster home while he waits on his furever home. Email us at adoptioncenter@homewardtrails.org

Meet Myra! Myra is a 1 year old retriever mix looking for a home with adults only. Myra loves people, walks, cuddles and to talk. Myra also enjoys playing with other dogs who can match her play style. Due to Myra's love for talking, she would do best in a townhouse or single family home. Myra does show some resource guarding with food towards other dogs, so she will need a household that can manage this. Myra does enjoy the outdoors but if she sees squirrels, she will try to chase them. However, if you have a yard, we think Myra would be great at keeping it squirrel free!

Myra would love a furever home, but a foster would be great too.

Happy Go Fetch Friday! Today we are sharing Luca. Luca is a 2 year old retriever mix who enjoys puzzle toys, chew toys, and occasionally chasing toys. Luca is not the best at sharing toys or food so he will need a home with adults only and no other pets. Luca is very treat motivated and enjoys learning new tricks. Luca is also great at cleaning up every crumb you never knew you had! So if you want the pawfect mix of fun, snuggles and a clean house, then Luca is your man!

Meet Betty, our sweet sunbathing senior! Betty came to us from another shelter where she was found as a stray. Betty is a super sweetheart who loves humans (she likes other dogs too, but the humans are her #1). Betty did come to us with some health issues which we are currently taking care of. Despite everything Betty is a swell senior who deserves a home with a lap.

This is heartbreaking. We received word that one of our partners had responded to a hoarding case with over 130 small dogs all living in a house.
