Here at Second Chance Horse and ranch we are focused on the well being of horses and other forgotten farm related animals. My wife an I started Second Chance Horse and Ranch with our hearts set on protecting those that cannot protect themselves. Animals depend on us to care for them and to protect them. I have been to many auction houses where these seized horses are run through the auction 300 to 600 pounds underweight and can barely walk under their own power, then the very next day see someone riding that poor horse down the side of the road with the auction number still on them. It makes me sick to see what is being done to these animals. Before we had cars, planes or tractors these are the animals we depended on to grow this world to what is today and our lives depended on them. I think it is high time we give back to them the way they did for us. They depend on us and we owe it to them.
