K9 Control promotes responsible dog ownership and care, and works to maintain public peace through awareness, licensing, and enforcement.

K9 Control services include bylaw enforcement, dog licensing, lost and found, and dog adoptions.

Dog Control is a form of Bylaw Enforcement. K9 Control is the contractor for the enforcement of dog control bylaws in the following areas:

NORTH OKANAGAN:
- City of Vernon
- District of Coldstream
- Village of Lumby
- Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) Electoral Areas B and C
- Part of RDNO Electoral Area D in the Lumby & District Fire Protection Area
- Township of Spallumcheen

COLUMBIA-SHUSWAP:
- City of Salmon Arm
- Parts of Columbia-Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) in Ranchero, Sorrento, Blind Bay and Eagle Bay

OKANAGAN-SIMILKAMEEN:
- Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Dog Control Service in Electoral Areas A, B, C, D, E, F and G

THOMPSON-NICOLA:
Dangerous Dog Control Service in Electoral Areas I, M, N, and P

LARGE ANIMAL POUND:
