Stubby’s Heroes’ efforts include supporting local spay/neuter initiatives, dog food distribution, adoption efforts, and outreach in our communities. We believe in building bridges, and we do not isolate ourselves because of our core philosophy. If we did so, we would never have the opportunity to educate. Our efforts are to keep our communities safe, and while an unpopular belief, we also think that the policy makers, and those proposing possible BSL, really just want to keep their communities safe too. Our goal is to educate them about why BSL does not work, and share with them that our dogs are not the monsters that they are portrayed to be. We ask the media, policy makers and citizens of communities to focus on the individual dog owner and deal with the issue at hand, but leave our family members alone.
