Breaking services and lessons


Rosehaven is a small husband and wife partnership dedicated to the rescue of horses who who are unable to remain in or find homes in their current state. We endeavor to educate and rehabilitate these horses resulting in a safe and healthy horse who can be re-homed and become a useful and reliable mount. We take on horses when approached by owners unable to cope and also attend sales and purchase horses who otherwise may end up at the doggers. Not all of the horses we have for sale have been neglected or mistreated but may lack handling or education which would allow them to find a desirable home.

We perform all education and breaking ourselves and are strong advocates of natural horsemanship methods. We pride ourselves in producing calm, safe horses who can go on to perform in any discipline.

We are very selective when selling our horses and the price of horses upon rehoming is reflective of their physical health and education and goes towards feed, vet, farrier, worming, transport and vaccination fees while they’re in our care.

As lovers of paint horses, in the future we will be producing a limited number of selectively bred paint horses for performance homes.

We also offer education and breaking services with options to suit every budget.
