BSPCA Gaborone
Adopt your new loving pet in Gaborone! The shelter is open from 10am to 5pm everyday of the week, all animals are vaccinated and STERILIZED (no breeding).
The mission of BSPCA is to raise awareness of the abuse of animals in Botswana, to teach and foster good pet parenting practices, and to promote spay and neuter programs with the goal of eradicating the need to euthanize healthy and adoptable companion animals.
We do this through:
- Providing shelter and re-homing opportunities for strays
- Sterilizing all pets re-homed from the BSPCA Shelter
We try to minimize cruelty to animals through promoting community projects and by educating school children and adults on the topics of humane treatment and care of domestic animals, and providing hands-on educational experiences in the classroom and at the BSPCA Shelter.
