Working towards a No Kill NYC!

"No more excuses. No more compromises. No more killing." It is our primary mission to end the abuse and killing of animals in the NYC Shelter System. We believe that the mass, systematic killing of our beloved companion animals is abhorrent, immoral and unacceptable. All animals have the inherent right to live, and to be treated with respect and dignity. No animal should be treated as a disposable object. No animal should be killed for any reason other than for dire and untreatable medical conditions. Our quintessential moral and ethical imperative is to end the killing of the many thousands of abandoned and homeless animals who are all innocent victims. Our wish is to light a candle in the darkness.



SOS Save Our Shelter Animals is sister-organization to PEACE, People for the End of Animal Cruelty and Exploitation, a 501c3 non-profit organization registered in the State of New York.
