Managed by volunteers, this page is the official Facebook page dedicated to publicize the photos and information about the stray and impound animals in Bay City/Matagorda County

The main objective of this page is to publicize the available animals for adoption in hopes that rescue groups and animal lovers will find them. This page also accommodates announcements of free animals that needs homes from the local community. (Selling animals or postings that needs rehoming fees are not allowed in this page). This page will also help the Friends of Strays and Impound Animals raise funds for veterinary services and transportation services which are much required to move the animals from the impound to their rescues or adoptive family. This page is open to everyone who loves to help the animals in anyway. We encourage everyone to participate by reposting pictures of our needy animals, fostering and training the animals while waiting for rescue or their forever families, transporting the animals from the impound or foster homes to their rescue group, approved homes or to the airports, or by donating money or other resources to finance rescue operations. All foster and transportation volunteers will have to check-in and get approved by the Bay City/Matagorda County Animal Impound manager.
