Gloucester County Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco attended the Howl-o-Ween Fundraiser at White Oaks Golf County Club on October 30.

Mitch Primas, General Manger of White Oaks, visited the Gloucester County Animal Shelter to present the shelter with the donation check totaling to $5,240.

Thank you White Oaks Country Club for creating this awesome event benefiting the Gloucester County Animal Shelter.

Much prefers staying home to going out
Has a brandy every night before bed
Doesn’t appreciate critters on his lawn
Thinks technology is overrated and good
old fashioned manners are EVERYTHING

Angel is the longest term resident at Gloucester County Animal Shelter. He’s a very sweet, loving and obedient boy who is a 100% people-pleaser ❤️he needs to be the only pet in his home but has done well with seniors and would be fine with older kids as well. Let’s get this guy adopted 🙏💕🐾
*******FYI he has partial training as a service dog and was featured in People magazine a few months ago during the clear the shelter event*****

Animal control was dispatched to Washington township for a hawk trapped in between two fences today.
Once our Officer arrived, she safely freed him from the fence 🙃🙂 The Hawk thankfully sustained no injures during entrapment 😃

Its Unknown how long he was in that position for, but he will recover with us overnight 😃 Tomorrow he will be released back into the wild!

Meet Arlo! This handsome feller is renting a room at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter while waiting for his person/family. 👌🏽 For Arlo’s success, a dog interaction must take place if you already have a dog member of the family:) Like me with other humans, he is selective. 🤷🏼‍♀️ He may chase cats, so yeah... if you have cats Arlo may not be your boy. BUT, if you don’t, he is good with kids 12+ due his size and strength. He’s cute and fun! 👏🏽
