Meow or Never will be Las Vegas’s first cat café, located in Summerlin! It will be a place where cats and coffee come together!

Cat cafes started in Japan, and are popping up all over the world – London, Perth, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, etc. The cafés help reduce the homeless cat population by drastically improving adoption rates. Cats at the cafes learn to successfully socialize with other cats and humans before being taken home. A cat from a cat café is not only friendly, but they are also already trained. This is momentously appealing to potential cat owners!

Why does Las Vegas need a cat café? The homeless cat population in Las Vegas is growing every day! Currently, it is estimated there are 200,000+ homeless cats in Las Vegas. Many of those cats are not fixed and are reproducing as we speak! Las Vegas only has 3 major animal shelters, and they can only take in so many cats! Meow or Never is joining the fight to get more Las Vegas cats into loving forever homes!

Meow or Never will be a café that is divided into two parts, part cat rescue and part coffee shop. Customers will enjoy great coffee with the company of furry friends! In the spirit of complying with Nevada health codes, a glass wall will divide the cat rescue and the coffee shop. Meow or Never is working to partner with the NSPCA, and has already partnered with Colorado River Coffee Roasters.

The NSCPA, Nevada SPCA, is a nonprofit organization that operates a no-kill animal sanctuary in Las Vegas. They ensure their cats’ well-being by treating each cat as an individual; at the NSPCA, every cat’s name and personality is well-known and celebrated! Their cats are cared for responsibly; cats at the NSPCA are spayed/neutered, given vaccinations, and are micro chipped prior to adoption! Most importantly, their cats are happy; at the NSPCA, cats live in cage-free environments with lots of social interaction and stimulation! Meow or Never believes in the NSPCA’s methods and their mission! Our cat rescue will strictly abide by the NSPCA’s standards and procedures.

CRCR, Colorado River Coffee Roasters, is a local coffee roaster with unparalleled dedication to their coffee! Their coffee beans come from all over the world, and the CRCR team personally knows each of their growers! Their micro-roasting technique ensures that each roast is given considerate attention. Instead of over-roasting for consistency and efficiency, CRCR roasts their coffee with optimal flavor in mind. To ensure consistency, their coffee is meticulously monitored throughout the entire roasting process. Meow or Never is excited to help CRCR show the world how flavorful coffee can be!
