Mission Statement: Happy Tails is a no-kill facility dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of homeless and abused animals. Needy animals are rescued, nurtured, and provided shelter and medical care (including spaying and neutering) before being placed in loving homes. Happy Tails is also dedicated to educating the public about the joys and responsibilities of caring for these creatures whose lives also have value.

Since 1993, Happy Tails has helped close to 20,000 animals – including rescue and placement of domestic cats and dogs, trap/spay/neuter of feral cats, assisting our community and encouraging responsible treatment of animals.

In addition, an even higher number of unwanted animal births were prevented, making a major contribution in the reduction of the local cat and dog over population problem.
