Our mission is to:
(1) Provide a safe haven for Senior and Special Needs Golden Retreivers.
(2) Raise awareness of the benefits of owning a Senior pet and provide education on responsible pet ownership.



In addition to having permanent residents, GRASS will adopt Goldens to approved applicants. We will also utilize foster homes as this will allow us to help more dogs.

Our focus is Senior and Special Need Goldens. Senior is defined as age 7 or older. Special Need includes, but is not limited to, dogs that are deaf, blind, epileptic, having severe allergies/skin issues, or age related illness or disability.

We are not concerned with how long a dog has to live, instead we are concerned with the quality of their last days, months, or years.
