Happy Tails Update!

“Hello! We adopted Marvin a 7 yr old orange Tabby. He is so wonderful! He has the nickname King Marvin. He spends his day in his favorite chair with his favorite blanket. If we move the blanket he follows it and sleeps wherever we put it. We put it on my daughters bed every night at bed time and he knows the bedtime routine now. He plays with my daughter before bed and before lunch. He eats dry food for breakfast and wet food for dinner. He loves his scratching post and in the morning he lays on my desk between my keyboard and monitor helping me work.😄😄😄

We don't have enough good things to say about Lily. She is sweet, quiet, and gentle. Lily loves to receive pets and love from people. She may be slow to approach, as she can be a bit of a wallflower, but once she nudges your hand for affection, she turns into a purr machine.

During the holiday season, we often reflect upon how thankful we are for our cozy homes, loving friends and family, and the celebrations we share. 💝 Unfortunately, these are comforts and joys that many shelter animals will be missing while they wait to be adopted.

✨Happy Tails Update!✨

"All is going really well! As we anticipated, they were a bit of unsure of things for a few days and stuck close together.

"They seem to be much more comfortable now, which is nice to see! When anyone in the family comes through the door, they perk up, run to the door, and then the tails start wagging!

"Thelma likes to hang out in the foyer and look out the front door and Louise likes to hang out in the family room and look out the patio door. They even hang out on different levels of the house so they no longer feel the need to stick close to one another.

"They love taking walks (although they are not thrilled with their gentle leaders) and chasing squirrels in the backyard. They also love chilling in their beds (and ours) and getting rewarded with a treat-filled Kong.

"They have brought us so much joy in such a short time! Thank you!"
