Boogie is looking for someone who will love him just the way he is. Although he may never regain use of his back legs, he has adapted amazingly ❤️ And despite his circumstances, Boogie is a snuggly, purry, playful little kitten! His true gift may be that he brings a smile to every person who gets the pleasure of meeting him.

We transferred Boogie and his brother Spin from a small rural shelter because Boogie needed some specialized care. Unlike Spin, Boogie has a full-blown case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (or CH), leaving him without any control or use of his back legs (or his booty, hence the little diaper).

At first glance, the shelter thought this tiny little 5 oz kitten was just 2 weeks old. But a closer exam showed he was actually weeks older than he appeared, and his extremely small size was likely due to having a lack of food & nutrition all his life. We named this little guy Niko, and he’s less than half the size of his two littermates. On top of that, he has a cleft palate resulting in a missing nostril and his unusual bat-like appearance.

Right now he and his siblings are getting 24/7 care and monitoring, fluids, and special food, and we’re happy to say they’re doing great! All three are back on track to grow into healthy little kittens, and it’s all thanks to your support.
