Founded in 2014, Savannah Wildlife Rescue located at the Abandoned Bandits Rescue Center has one mission, to rescue and rehabilitate Savannah's native wildlife and to improve the welfare of wildlife through education. Founder, Jeanne Paddison, is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator with the Georgia Deparment of Natural Resources.

Here at the Abandoned Bandits Rescue Center located on Wilmington Island, we specialize in providing care for orphan wild mammals with a speciality in infant raccoons. Our facility includes an up-to-code nursery and large outdoor pre-release enclosures with trees, nest boxes and pools. Once ready, animals are released onto protected land where food and water are readily available. We are committed to providing the best chance possible of releasing the animals back to the wild.

For more information, if you have a wildlife emergency, or if you would like to volunteer/donate, please call the Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center at 912-596-1237.
