Animal Rescue and Outreach Society (AROS) is a charitable, non-profit organization serving the Alberta Capital Region. Our main objectives are:

■ To promote the welfare of animals by providing temporary and permanent homes for pets who are surrendered, abandoned, abused, sick, and/or injured.
■ To provide free and/or low cost pet care programs to the community.

We advocate for force-free training methods and believe that using humane, effective, evidence-based behavior modification is an integral part of promoting animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
