Northern Spirit K9 Rescue is dedicated
to provide food, shelter, medical treatment and facilities for neglected, abandoned, ill treated, unwanted and injured dogs on First Nations Reserves and other areas, and placing them in loving and caring homes. To re-home these dogs, wherever possible and, in particular, to provide and maintain foster homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals. To educate residents on the Reserves and in other areas in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among these animals and to help enhance the quality of life for these animals. To help provide a spay and neuter program on First Nations Reserves, and to assist in the education for residents on First Nations Reserves on the importance of spay and neuter of animals to help prevent over population.
