Siamese cats are the most recognized breed that arrive at cat shelters. With their distinctive blue eyes and colour points - they are easily distinguishable from other breeds. Many of the cats that come to RESCUE are Siamese crosses; meaning they may not have "perfect" points and the distinctive Siamese traits.
Siamese and Siamese cross cats form close emotional bonds with their human companions. Many Siamese cats will suffer emotional grief and trauma when they lose "their families" and find themselves in a shelter environment. At RESCUE, we give these cats the time they need to adjust and find a new loving home.




Rescue is a non-profit, feline rescue that operates as a shelter with a strong foster program component, whereby animals are taken into foster homes, vetted and assessed for temperament and later put up for adoption at our shelter. Rescue Siamese is a "no kill" rescue. Siamese crossed cats are accepted directly from owners, as strays or as transfers from another shelter or organization. Rescue Siamese is set up to give preference to the Siamese and Oriental breeds, and will also take in the domestic partners of "bonded" pairs. Oriental breeds may include Oriental Short Hair, Himalayan, Exotic Short Hair, Snowshoe, Birman, Balinese -most cats that have blue eyes and colour points.

Friday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
