Fulfilling Hearts Rescue is a non-profit dog rescue in Moncton, New Brunswick with high hopes to make big change in the community. Founded in the fall of 2013, FHR has successfully rescued many abandoned dogs who would have been considered "un-adoptable" elsewhere. Education regarding animal rescue is also a huge focus for the organization.

Fulfilling Hearts operates through approved foster homes around the city, as opposed to a shelter environment. This allows the dogs to thrive and show their true colors in a home setting. While in foster, each dog goes through a temperament test and training based on their individual needs. FHR also covers the cost of all medical care and treatments. Each dog is spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated prior to being ready for their forever home.

Dogs are matched to adoptive families that fit their lifestyle. This prevents the animal being bounced around through homes once again in the future. Fulfilling Hearts makes every attempt during the adoption process to ensure that all their dogs will stay comfortably in their forever homes - for the rest of their lives.
