Volunteers are an important and integral part of our organization. From our volunteer Board of Directors to our dog walkers, to our book store volunteers, to those who help with our fundraising events, all contribute in one way or another to help make our organization a success. As a non profit organization we rely on many volunteer hours to help maintain our programs and operate the shelter.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer drop by the shelter to fill out an application. Depending on what you are interested in and the numbers of hours you are willing to devote to the effort, we can find something to fit your needs. Types of things you may like to do include such things as;

In order to volunteer you must be at least 16 years old. Parents who volunteer may bring their underage children but must remain with their child for supervision.
