Feedback from educational animal welfare DVD that is being distributed to schools in South Africa.
The aim is to share projects and ideas.

To create awareness that an animal's feelings and needs are exactly the same as ours.
To improve the lives and welfare of all animals.

WSPCA has produced an educational DVD in three languages - English, Afrikaans and Xhosa.
The DVD is divided into 6 sessions which include:
Introduction
Dogs - Man's Best Friend
Cats...and other small pets
Farm Animals and good farming practices
Production Animals - The food that we eat
Wildlife - Discovering the Animals around Us

The sessions are no longer than 12 minutes each.
We hope to find a school teacher or parent in every school, who will work with a group of children, by showing them a section, then leading them in discussions and small projects.

A booklet accompanies the DVDs, which gives initial ideas, but these must be expanded on.

Feedback from these school groups is strongly encouraged and the children's ideas, projects, discoveries etc. will be posted on this page.
