Fairy Dogmother Rescue & Rehab is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to making good things happen for dogs in need.

To prevent cruelty to animals (specifically dogs) and to establish a no-kill rescue for unwanted, abandoned, neglected, abused or injured pets (specifically dogs) and find loving homes for same with qualified adopters.

Fairy Dogmother is a small dog rescue whose dogs come from death row, or have been otherwise homeless, hungry, lost, injured, sick or at risk of being taken to a kill shelter where dogs surrendered by their owners or caretakers can be and often are put down the same day. Kill shelters are not required to give those dogs a chance to find new homes. Therefore, FDM offers a shelter alternative for small dogs surrendered by owners no longer able to provide a home or care for them, deceased owners and dogs with disabilities or special needs.

Before being offered for adoption, FDM's dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, have been checked for heartworm, are treated for parasites and fleas and are on monthly heartworm & flea preventive.
