Nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) equine rescue group in Lauderdale County, Alabama.
To rescue equines from cruel or dangerous situations.
To provide shelter, care, rehabilitation and adoption for abused, neglected or abandoned equines.
To educate owners on the compassionate care and responsible treatment of equines.
To heighten public awareness about equine abuse and neglect.
To assist law enforcement in horse cruelty and neglect investigations by caring for and placing seized equines.
To maintain a sound, reliable and transparent fundraising program for the long term survival of SRER.
To be an advocate for animal welfare concerns.
SRER is a nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) rescue comprised solely of volunteers. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abused, neglected and/or abandoned equines. All donations are tax-deducitble and go directly to the care and upkeep of our horses as well as the day to day expenses of operating the rescue. We have no paid employees or staff.
