It is my goal to do away with the myths about PitBulls.Here we disprove stereotypes and ignorance, and fight BSL and racism. They are a misunderstood breed, very loyal and loving. PitBulls that are rescued from abusive environments will receive intensive therapy to try to get them to where they can coexist with humans and find it in themselves to once again trust. There will be some dogs that won't be able to be adopted out to their forever homes and will remain at the ranch where they will continue to receive the love and nurturing they so deserve.
Several jurisdictions have enacted breed-specific legislation against pitbulls, ranging from outright bans on the possession of pit bull-type dogs, to restrictions and conditions on pit bull ownership. Research indicates that breed specific legislation is ineffective because it is not the breed of dog that is dangerous; rather, it is unfavorable situations that create dangerous dogs.
