Every Living Thing (ELT) works to improve the lives of animals in Tanzania, East Africa.

Our mission is to work together with local governments to help enforce the current Animal Welfare Act (2008) while also educating communities on the rights of all animals.

We are an Animal Sanctuary located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As Tanzania is a developing nation there are many needs and, sadly, all too often animals needs get left behind. This is something we aim to help improve.

Opening times: Mon-Sat 12-4pm

We are a working shelter and may not always be able to receive visitors. Please call to make an appointment in advance.

The "ELT Centre" in Dar Es Salaam is the base of our rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming programs. From here we also run our education, community outreach and population control initiatives.
