WoW is a non-profit organization/rescue with an ultimate goal of saving the lives of animals.

Whiskers or Wags, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission
is to provide the humane treatment of neglected, abused, stray, and
surrendered animals by providing a shelter facility, rescue &
adoption services, education & training on responsible pet care, and
spay & neutering education & services.

IF you have a stray animal, please note that we do not take strays directly into the shelter but that they need to be called in the the Animal Protection Officer at the Johnson County Road Department. At that time, they will schedule a pick up and the stray animals will be picked up and brought to the shelter.

IF you have an animal that needs to be rehomed, please e-mail photos and information to the Whiskers or Wags - W.o.W FB page. We will then try to find rescues or adopters for the animals. This process often takes time so please be patient and let us help you the best we can.
