We work to rehome or find rescue for animals in rural Bibb County, Brent, Alabama (near Tuscaloosa).

We are a small 501(c)3 charitable organization that feeds and networks animals in Bibb County and the Rabies Control Impoundment facility ("Pound") to find them homes and help get them to safety.

The Pound is open to the Public on Tues and Thurs from 1 to 5 pm. It is located at 134 Bibb Lane, Brent, AL 35034. Animals may be adopted or reclaimed at the Pound.

Our group does not manage the pound or receive any fees from adoptions or rescues. We operate solely on donations. Contact us to help:

This is not a humane society or shelter. We work to feed and save the impounded strays that are picked up, and any turned in by owners. Animals can be euthanized that day or any day after being turned in. Please, do not drop off your beloved pets or strays. THE IMPOUND FACILITY EUTHS FOR SPACE.

If an animal is picked up without a tag, owners have only 7 days to claim. There is a 25.00 charge up to 3 days to get returned. An additional charge of 7.50 per day may be added and that is up to the compliance officer in this matter.

When adopting any Pit or Rottweiler or Chow, people will be screened. and the impound will not allow pet out until they have been spayed or neutered.
