The Refuge is the dog rescue arm of Paron Community Center in Saline County, AR. The Refuge provides care for homeless dogs awaiting adoption.

The Refuge believes that dogs are important and deserve better treatment from humans than they often receive. After being abandoned and hurt, they live with us in a loving, accepting home environment where they learn to trust people again, while awaiting adoption. We find loving adopters, through careful screening, so these babies will not be hurt like this again.

The Refuge provides foster homes, general medical care, as well as spay/neuter, vaccinations, and monthly parasite preventives for homeless or abandoned dogs awaiting adoption.
