Although this beautiful 5-month-old hauspanther is timid at first, Lyra loves getting pets and face scritches, and has a thunderous purr. She likes to play with toys and her sister Pyxis (also available for adoption) and enjoys spending time with her special human.

Sweet Simon is a love bug. He is happy to just hang out with you and soak up the love ❤️

Simon is in foster with another dog and gets along great with her. He has also enjoyed the company of children he has met.

Simon is about 6 yrs old. He has been treated for some skin issues and he is doing so well! His fur is growing back and he feels much better.

Murphy is a 1-2 yr old handsome shepherd mix available for direct rehoming. He is very sweet, interactive, sensitive, and loyal. He is anxious in busy public places but he is comfortable in the house and out on walks and hikes.

Murphy loves to play with his toys, and has moderate energy. He enjoys daily runs, walks, hikes, and/or fetch sessions and also loves to curl up and nap during day. Murphy can be fearful of new people and places. Once he is reassured and shown that he is in a safe place, he calms down.

This strapping young fellow is a glutton for affection, and will return the favor by purring up a storm and leaning his body against you while he’s getting loved up. At just 18 months old, Marvin is still a youngster and enjoys stretching his long limbs while he explores and plays. But don’t worry—he checks in often for more of that sweet, sweet love. 😻

“Come and PLAAAAY with me!” says Cider.

This silly 5-month-old boy has come such a long way since he first arrived at the shelter. Back then, he would hide under his bedding, and only cautiously accept pets when we delved under his blanket to find him.

It turned out, though, that play was the way to this little guy’s heart. Now that he’s discovered the joys of the wand toy, he rarely lets you pass by without an invitation (in the form of paws stuck out in entreaty through his cage door) to indulge him in an energetic wand session!

Once he’s all tuckered out from murdering his favorite toy, then Cider is ready for pets and snuggles, and will enthusiastically purr and stick his butt up in the air to show his approval.

And thank you to your donations of @stretchandscratch scratchers as seen here, Cider and all our shelter cats have something to scratch on!

Introducing bonded 5-month-olds Finn and Pepper!

Snowshoe mix Finn is still learning—with the aid of lickable treats and play—to be confident. He'll wander up to watch when you’re doing something interesting, and sleep at your feet at night when he thinks you won't notice. Most days, you'll find him following his bold and brave sister, Pepper, around their foster home.

Beautiful panther Pepper’s energetic, adventurous, and friendly personality helps bring Finn out of his shell. The two are inseparable, and you'll often find them hanging out on the cat tree together.

They're looking for a kind and patient guardian and a home without dogs and small children.
