Friends of the Animal Village

A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing supplemental support to the Little Rock Animal Village, our city shelter.

Our mission is to provide supplemental financial and promotional support to the Little Rock Animal Village through fundraising events, donations and marketing efforts. Through these efforts, our ultimate goal is to raise awareness, increase adoptions and reduce euthanasia at the Little Rock Animal Village.

Our ultimate goal is to raise awareness, increase adoptions and reduce euthanasia at the Little Rock Animal Village. Friends of the Animal Village is not the Little Rock Animal Village, we are a support organization run by volunteers, dedicated to providing assistance to LRAV.
IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR PET: please go to the Little Rock Animal Village (4500 Kramer St) to look for them as soon as you are able. Stray animals are held for 7 days to allow their owners to reclaim them. Animals are not posted on our website until they are available for adoption, and not all are posted. It is important to visit in person to look for your pet, as the volume of animals coming in every day makes it very difficult for any staff member to be able to identify your pet over the phone. You should also check the Arkansas Lost & Found Pet Network regularly and submit your pet's info to them.
The Little Rock Animal Village is open Tues-Sat 8-5. Kennels are not open for browsing until 10am. If there is a specific animal you'd like to see, you can do that anytime they're open.
