We are so grateful we got to love this sweet soul, Ramen. We are grateful his story didn’t end after being dumped in a field. We are grateful that, as of now (knock on wood) his sister Kimchi is hanging in there for us. We are so incredibly grateful we were able to give him the chance his previous owners didn't… to snuggle, to be loved, to play with his sister, to give him all the medical care we could offer. We are grateful he tried his little hardest to pull through, and we are grateful to the wonderful team at @asecla for taking him in when so many places couldn't/wouldn't. Knowing he was in your care gave us the peace we needed, that we were trying our hardest 🙏🏻❤️

Our sweet boy Ramen, if love was enough you’d have survived. But sadly, you’ve earned your angel wings now. If love was enough, your lungs would be clear and you wouldn’t have struggled to breathe even in your oxygen chamber. You’d be barking and playing! We are so sorry your previous humans failed you sweet boy 💔

Distemper is an AWFUL horrific disease. It attacks every possible system in the body and as just a baby, their immune system is often just not strong enough to win the fight. Ramen lost his battle 😭

We are so grateful to you ALL for allowing us to fight for Ramen, to fight with him. If we could’ve crawled in his isolation chamber to breathe for him, to comfort him… we would have. We love you forever Ramen. Your life mattered and always will.

PLEASE vaccinate your pets, don’t expose them sooner than they should be. No matter how much you want to show off your cute puppy at a park or take them for a walk. They need ALL their shots. If you are unsure, ask your vet. Please pay it forward for Ramen and be safe. Teach others. Ramen deserved a long life ahead.

On this Thanksgiving we wanted to say THANK YOU ALL for giving Ramen and all of our medical dogs a fighting chance. Ramen is sadly doing worse today and is really struggling to breathe. We will let everyone enjoy their holiday without heartache but we at least wanted to let everyone know so they can send him all the love and prayers. DWB Village we desperately need you. This is not a drill🥺 As you may have seen in some of our recent posts, we’ve had a horrible couple weeks of medical needs and huge bills. We can’t catch a break, except for our hearts💔We already lost Izzy and we just can’t take another loss. We have to do whatever we can to help these dogs. We made that promise and they deserve it. Now…

RAMEN NEEDS US! Ramen has been bravely fighting distemper with sibling Kimchi but Ramen took a rapid decline this afternoon and we had to rush him to the vet. He was struggling to breathe🥺 Unfortunately we were turned away by literally 12 different vets. We were driving around in tears trying to get him in somewhere! Distemper requires an isolation chamber and everyone’s were full. Luckily we FINALLY got him in to an emergency vet but unfortunately there is no rescue discount for the ER there 😭 THIS. IS. Critical. We truly cannot do this without you. It is breaking us. Literally 💔 and simply put, we are barely scraping by with funds and need you. Immensely 🙏🏻❤️

Ramen’s bill JUST for today and being hospitalized ONE night is $2906 😳🆘

This is on TOP of the $6800 bill for Sugar (only $2500 of which we’ve raised so far🥺), $1500 for Pearl, $1200 for Mango… and on and on…
