BCC food drive happening now! Our shelves are bare but some donations have already started coming in. Here is spokescat Belle surveying the early donations..
Our volunteers will be here at the shelter at 2037 Foxon Rd. until 2pm today. Please stop by with dry or canned cat food for our shelter cats and for our feral colonies. We couldn’t do this work without you!

Anna-Lisa is a semi-feral one year old pregnant mom who is due to deliver any day. She has been surviving this past year by searching for food near dumpsters, occasionally being fed by caring humans and living in the woods or old discarded pieces of furniture. BCC trapped this smart little torti and now she needs a foster home that will provide a warm and safe place to have her babies. If you have experience with semi feral cats and would be willing to open your heart and home to her and her soon to be born kittens, please contact Lianne at (860) 377-5234.

We’re featuring brothers Cash and Cosmo as they approach their first birthdays!

They are doing great continue to make progress in their foster home! They need a cat-experienced home with people who understand that they can be a little shy but: they love being brushed and Cash loves snuggles. Cosmo really loves to explore and they both get along fine with their foster sibs!

Get your holiday shopping started! BCC 25th anniversary 2022 calendar featuring adoptees and some of your favorite shelter cats will be available for purchase at our food drive on Oct. 30. Please stop by at our shelter at 2037 Foxon Road between 10 AM and 2 PM Saturday 10/30. Bring some cat food for our furry friends and buy calendars for your holiday list! Each calendar is $25.00.

It really doesn’t get cuter than kittens snuggling in hammocks! These babies are looking for foster or forever homes. As much as they love their hammocks they would really love to stretch their paws and climb and play like normal, happy and healthy kittens. Currently these babies are confined to living in cages. Do you have a spare room for fostering or are you looking to adopt? These babies will make wonderful companions.

Interested folks who want to foster should live relatively close to BCC in order to use our veterinarians.
