The Purr Project, Inc.

Purr Project is a non-profit feline rescue organization in New Haven. Our mission is to give a second chance to cats that have been abused, injured or neglected... and match them with new safe homes.

Our mission is to find forever homes for these cats after we rehabilitate them from any injuries or hardships they may have endured in their lives.
Take a look at our list of adoptable cats below:

Because we are based at New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, The Purr Project specifically focuses on those cats that have illnesses, injuries, or other conditions but still deserve to be saved. Because of our mission, almost 80% of our expenditures are for medical expenses. As a 501(c)3 non profit, we depend on the generosity of the public to pay those bills.
As a Kitty Klub member, cats that would normally be euthanized will get the chance at the happy life that they deserve.
