ADOPT ME! 💗

Lt. Dan has been in our care for a few months now while his foster mom has been working on coming up with a good routine that works for this adorable special needs guy. He is a 2 year old Seal Point Manxkin (manx/munchkin) that has been bred to be this way, which unfortunately has caused several medical issues for him. He has "Manx Syndrome", which is similar to Spina Bifida for people, as well as neurogenic bladder and bowel dysfunction and potentially megacolon. 💔 Due to all of this, Lt. Dan has no control of his bladder or rectum meaning he is incontinent and needs manual assistance to help him pee and poop regularly.

Despite his medical needs, Lt. Dan is the happiest, sweetest and snuggliest little guy around. He just wants to hang out with his people, snuggle and play! He is also great with dogs and other cats and gentle children. Of course he is also ridiculously handsome! 😻

Lt. Dan's ideal home would be experienced with his needs, committed and dedicated to providing him the absolute best care, as well as understanding that complications and ER visits are going to be part of Dan's life unfortunately.

Welcome to ALDR, Lilly!💗

This sweet little 7 year old yorkie/chi mix came to us from the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center after she was surrendered with several of her housemates when their owner went into assisted living and was not expected to make a recovery. 💔

Lilly is such a lovebug that is the happiest when she is as close to you as possible snuggling. She also loves giving kisses, going on walks and is VERY polite on a leash and is potty trained. Lilly is currently in a foster home with small and large dog, as well as a cat and seems most comfortable around small dogs, ignores the cat, and is fine with large dogs as long as they don't get in her face. It's safe to say that she is the perfect little lady and so adorable! 😍

Lilly's ideal home would be with owners that are home most of the time, as she does have separation anxiety and prefers to spend as much of her time as possible with her person. 💗

Welcome to ALDR, Snow! ❄️

This handsome little man was surrendered by his owner after they were no longer able to care for him, He is estimated at 10 years old and unfortunately has cataracts which means he has very limited vision. Thankfully his hearing is great and he is a very well behaved little man that goes potty outside and gets along great with other dogs and even cats. Snow is fully vetted and even had a dental cleaning recently so his teeth are now sparky clean. 🦷 Snow is a very sweet, social and personable little guy that could benefit from some weight loss and a family that will spoil him rotten, as he deserves.

Happy Tails to Ben and Rey! 💖

These handsome boys came to us a couple of months ago after they were found as strays by good Samaritans. They have been in a wonderful foster home that has been helping them learn all about the indoor life, treats, playtime, soft beds/blankets and snuggles. After a few weeks at Pet Supplies Plus- Land O'Lakes and no interest, one of our wonderful volunteers that cares for our kitties at the store decided to give them a cage break and take them home. It did not take long for the boys to win her over and she decided that they have found their furever home.. with her! This adorable brother-sister, polydactyl duo came to us from Pasco County Animal Services after they were found as strays and brought into the shelter. They are 8 weeks old and have a pretty terrible upper respiratory infection that they are currently on meds for. They are sweet as can be and love snuggling with their wonderful new foster mom. We can not wait to see them blossom while in foster care. Fennel is part of our Garden kittens that came from a stray colony and the litter struggled with upper respirory infection. Charlie update! 💗

This handsome boy came to us 11 weeks ago when he was hit by a car and found by good Samaritans. Charlie was rushed to the ER where we discovered he had two breaks, one on his pelvis and one on his hip! Euthanasia was recommended, but we decided to give him a chance and we are so glad we did!🎉

Charlie just had his FHO (hip) surgery at Harmony Vet Care which was successful. He is now in the recovery stage which could take up to 8 weeks, but he is right on track with everything. We are so grateful to have been able to give him a chance at a happy and healthy life.

His FHO surgery was a little over $1,000 and we desperately need help with his medical bills, so please consider making a donation. Bean, Chickpea and Pinto update! 🐾

All three came from different backgrounds and met in foster care where they became best friends! 😍 They are all still a few weeks away from being able to get vetted, but are enjoying all the perks an indoor home has to offer.. lots of toys, treats, food, soft blankets and lots of playtime! Little Pinto (black/white) has a home lined up but we would really love to see Chickpea and Bean adopted together as they are always playing and snuggling together. This handsome, misunderstood guy came to us from a shelter in Palm Beach after he was found as a stray underweight, stained from his own urine and feces, infested with parasites and deaf. He had a wonderful foster home that provided him with lots of TLC, medical care and helped him overcome his troubled past. Kermit now has a wonderful furever home with an amazing new mom and doggy brother that he already gets along with very well! Rory update!🐾

She came to us after she was found in the middle of the road, soaking wet and terrified by an EMT. After being examined by a vet we found out that Rory had a pelvic fracture and required cage rest. 💔 Thankfully, she has a wonderful foster mom that has been helping her through this rough time. Rory just had a check up and will need 3 more weeks of cage rest to allow her fracture to fully heal. Welcome to ALDR, Sienna! 💗

This sweet little lady came to us from the Hillsborough County Animal Services after she was brought in as a stray covered in scabies. She was having a hard time at the shelter and they desperately wanted her out and into a foster home. Thankfully, we had a wonderful foster home that was able to take Sienna in and provide more one on one care. She has settled in wonderfully and even loves belly rubs! 😍 Sienna has a long road ahead of her for recovery, but we are so happy to be part of her journey!
