COMMUNITY MEMBERS, WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER!!

The volunteers at Companion Cats are so disturbed, upset and sad – today. SOMEONE ABANDONED FOUR KITTENS in our parking lot today, when we are closed. When our volunteers come very early and are not expected back until evening. THESE POOR KITTENS WERE LEFT IN FULL SUN, IN A PEN WITHOUT WATER ON ONE OF THE HOTTEST DAYS OF THE YEAR, DURING A DANGEROUS HEAT ADVISORY!

We NEED OUR COMMUNITY to pitch in by providing short term foster homes for these and other cats and kittens until adoptions increase. Many kittens just need safe loving places to grow old enough for spay/neuter surgery and be ready for adoption. It’s so rewarding and easier than you think to find the space and time for little kittens, or an older cat that needs a break from the shelter. Bebe is a sweet girl with beautiful brown & white markings. She had 3 babies a year ago and now would really benefit from a home of her own. She loves to be by her person all the time. Her favorite past times are to have someone dangle the toy on a stick (she’ll play for hours and then sleep for hours) or sit in a window, on a perch, table, kitty condo and look outside. She may not want to be picked up and cuddled, but still wants your attention & pets. Bebe should probably be the only animal in the house where she doesn’t need to compete with other pets or children; although she was rescued from a house with dogs but we’re not sure how she acts around them. Please come in and see Bebe in action. Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee is $80.00.
