California Animal Shelter Friends, Inc.

California Animal Shelter Friends, Inc. is a non-profit private animal shelter dedicated to rescuing sick, injured and newborn animals at risk of euthanasia.

California Animal Shelter Friends, Inc. provides medical and foster care to sick, injured and newborn animals abandoned at animal shelters and veterinary hospitals and then finds these rescued animals permanent, loving homes.

Our dedicated volunteers coordinate the rescue of at risk animals who require medical and foster care. Once animals arrive at our facility they receive all needed medical care - including meeting any special medical needs due to pre-existing illness or injury and wellness care - all animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed and otherwise prepared for adoption. Once the animals we have rescued are healthy enough and old enough to be adopted to new loving homes they are put up for adoption. All potential adopters must submit an adoption application and once approved adoptions are done by appointment only at our private facility.
