To help provide spay and neuter services as well as rabies vaccination for homeless and abandoned companion animals in the Cando area and to facilitate adoption of these animals wherever possible.
Uffda is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and depends on donations, grants and fund-raising. Donations made to Uffda are tax-deductible.
UFFDA IS NOT AN ANIMAL SHELTER. Uffda depends on the people who want to surrender a pet to continue to feed and house the dog or cat until an adopter is found.
Since the fall of 2008 Uffda has rescued over 1000 dogs and cats plus three ferrets.
