The Easy Street Animal Shelter strives to rescue and provide shelter for homeless and abandoned domestic animals. Our purpose is to provide a humane shelter in a "no-kill" environment provided the animal is adoptable and not a threat to human safety. We also hope to:
- to promote animal care awareness by sponsoring regularly scheduled vaccination clinics;
- to provide education for the need to control pet population through spaying and neutering and to provide these services;
- to produce special events which will raise awareness for the needs of these animals;
- to engage in other activities to educate the public about total animal health awareness beyond vaccination and neutering which will include, but not limited to, heart worm prevention, animal behavior, nutrition, joint care, and life stages care.
