We can't forget our sweet, sweet Doyle with one of the most horrific injuries we have encountered after being hit by a car and left to suffer. His entire chin was degloved , but after sutures and a wire for his broken jaw he is as good as new and looking for is forever home!

Meet Chiffon!

Chiffon found herself dumped in a taped up box outside of the Petco shopping center sign on Bay Area Boulevard. She was in terrible condition weighing in at only 2.6 pounds at one year old, but is on her way to being loved and spoiled! She is slowly gaining weight and on the road to a forever home. SCP's goal is to raise a total of $5,000.00 to assist more animals like the fortunate who are currently in our wonderful foster homes for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays this Giving Tuesday!

Meet Rummy!

Rummy was rescued from the Galveston County Animal Resource Center just a few days before Thanksgiving after being attacked by another animal. He is currently recovering with stitches and drain tubes but is so happy to have been rescued that nothing will stop that smile! Meet Smudge!

Being one of our longer term kitties, he loves nothing more than a comfy bed at Saturday Adoption Events. With the different holidays and seasons, come different colored beds. He conned one of the cat ladies into buying him a new Christmas bed recently. He looks quite pleased with himself! He can't wait to find a forever home full of comfy beds to lounge in.

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone at SCP!

This little monkey man joined SCP just in time to enjoy the holidays in foster care. He made his way to a local shelter with several deep infected wounds that looked to be from a dog attack. He had surgery Tuesday to clean and close the open wounds and now he is resting up in foster care.

Meet Etouffee and Jambalaya!

Etouffee and Jambalaya are female spotted tabby twins! They were born around March 2021. They were rescued from a tiny shelter a while back and were pretty unsocialized. They went into foster care with lots of people, cats and dogs. They have truly blossomed and are now ready for a new, loving forever family! Their fans say that they are very exotic looking and are covered in stripes and spots! They will be small, full grown kitties. They love to keep each other company and play very well together. They love to be with their people, on your lap, shoulder, or whatever is available - PS their fur is very short so are not big shedders! They are fine with nice dogs and other cats are very fun. They would love to meet you so please come visit us one Saturday at Petco! You will not be disappointed!

Meet China!

China is a 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd Mix and was rescued from a high volume shelter. She had a BFF at the shelter so we had to take him too! His name is Coda. They both get along very well with other large dogs and are both super friendly and playful! China loves to jump up on people to give them a hug. She knows "sit" and will likely be very trainable.

Meet Leo and Simba!

Leo is an orange and white tabby male and Simba is an orange tabby male. They were born in a garage in April 2021. Mama has since been spayed thank goodness! These boys adore each other. They are super snuggly, playful, and affectionate. They love to snuggle with their people and the medium sized dog in their foster home. Both have sad, sleepy eyes which are just adorable!
