Our mission is to rescue cats and kittens from abuse, neglect and unfortunate death and to promote Trap-Neuter-Return.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from abuse, neglect, and unfortunate death as well as to promote Trap-Neuter-Return and spay and neuter. We do not have a facility where we keep our animals so we rely completely on foster homes and donations to keep us going.

*Where Do The Cats In Our Rescue Come From?
The majority of the cats in our program were put on the euthanasia list at the Davis County Animal Shelter. They were either considered "unadoptable" or the shelter simply didn't have enough room. Davis County is only one shelter and they can only hold so many so unfortunately they have to euthanize for time and space. We pull as many as we can and find them homes. We normally do not take in cats from people who can no longer keep them, unless they already have a foster home lined up for the animal. We want to help as many cats as we can, but the cats already on the euthanasia list are our priority.

**Foster Homes Needed!
Why Do We Need Fosters?
Our program is run completely off of donations and foster homes. Without them both, we wouldn't be able to save all of these wonderful kitties. We do not have a facility to hold our animals. They stay in foster homes until they are adopted. The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save.
What Is A Foster Home?
A foster home is a temporary home for our cats to live until they are adopted. The foster provides food and supplies for the cat as well as a lot of love and attention. If you financially can't afford to provide food or supplies, we may be able to provide them for you. Some of the cats we get have been through a lot and have come out of some bad situations so they need some extra care and love to make them trust us and enjoy being with people again. We cover the costs of all veterinary care and other medical costs. We know that not every foster home will be a perfect match for each cat, so if it does not work out we will immediately move the cat into another foster home. We want the experience to be one that both the foster and the cat enjoy.

**Feeding Feral/Stray Cats? Or Know Someone Who Is?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the humane approach to controlling community cats. Euthanasia does not need to be the answer. The cats are trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, ear tipped, then returned to their colony and caregiver to live their lives outdoors.
Why does TNR work better than trap and kill?
TNR is proven to work better than trap and kill. Trapping a cat, taking it away from it’s colony, and killing it, only starts a vacuum effect. The cats are in that area for a reason. There is a food source. Whether it be dumpsters, a caregiver feeding them, mice, etc. The food source can only feed so many cats, and as you take cats out of that colony, more cats come in to fill their spots. Then they mate and the problem becomes worse creating the vacuum effect.
