It is our goal to assist our community and the surrounding area to better the lives of its animal population.

Happy Chance's Animal Friends has a strong desire to help the animals in our community and the surrounding area. It is our goal to better the lives of its animal population through promotion, education, outreach, rescue, and rehabilitation.

Our primary focus is to promote the animals at the Burlington Pet Adoption Center; however, we are NOT the shelter.

We also work with pet owners to help them keep their pets by finding them the community resources that they may need.

We have a strong desire to work with other local organizations, as well as network with other rescues, to better meet the needs of animals that may need placement or medical assistance.

We recognize that education of the public is vital to the welfare of its animals. We wish to be a strong presence in our community by taking part in programs that promote responsible pet ownership, encouraging the spaying and neutering of animals, assisting with basic animal care, and providing outreach programs that foster a love of animals.

We truly believe that "happy lives are found in second chances".
