The Aspen Animal Shelter is a privatized, for-profit, self-sustaining facility in which the animals with homes generate revenue to support the animals without homes. The Aspen Boarding Kennel generates over 90% of our operating revenue!!! We care for animals from the City of Aspen, Pitkin County and beyond, ranging from cats and dogs to birds and guinea pigs :)
