MISSION STATEMENT:

1. Take in local owner surrenders and shelters dogs that are scheduled to be euthanized.

2. Place dogs and cats into approved foster homes until adoptive homes are found.

3. Provide permanent foster homes for dogs that are deemed unadoptable due to abuse, disability or advanced age.

4. Provide short-term foster care for dogs and cats through Purple Leash Program for owners who are being hospitalized or fleeing domestic abuse.

5. Provide classroom presentations to teach children school-aged children about compassion and kindness toward animals.
