The Big Fix
The Big Fix is a mobile spay and neuter clinic for feral cats, cats and dogs focused on the underserved areas of Oahu, Hawaii run by Poi Dogs and Popoki
To reduce pet overpopulation and euthanasia in local shelters by providing convenient, low cost spay neuter options to the public.
Our mission is to provide affordable spay and neuter services to help reduce overpopulation and euthanasia on Oahu. Our focus is on solely on spay, neuter and microchipping services. From March 2014 to July 2014 we have spayed and neutered over 500 dogs and cats across Oahu. Our locations include, Nanakuli Beach Park, Waianae District Park, Patsy Mink Regional Park, Tails of Hawaii Waipio, Halawa District Park, Neal S. Blaisdell Park, Kahuku (privately owned parking lot), and Waimanalo Beach Park. We are several veterinarians participating with our program during their time off from working in private practice. Our volunteer family continues to grow each month as does our participating feral colony caretakers and participants. We strive to make this a community effort to help in this effort and we are thankful for everyone that helps in making this possible. Mahalo!
