UpsNDowns is about rescue, refuge, and rehabilitation

To rescue, (Rescue: Save someone from a dangerous or distressing situation), animals in need, rehabilitate them as needed, and match them with a family that matches what they need just as well as what the family needs

UpsNDowns rescue was named after founder Eliot's drive from Boston, MA to her new home in Tehachapi, CA- a constant theme of the drive were the literal ups, and downs, of the terrain and sights. That continued theme inspired Eliot's mother Anne to suggest the name.
