Meet Banzai, a handsome young German Shepherd here at the shelter. He's not super confident but once he gets to know you, he's an affectionate love bug. This smart boy can sit and shake for a treat but could use a little leash training. He has lots of love to give and would really flourish in a calm house with a patient adopter willing to coax out his personality and confidence. Hi, my name is Brom, and I'm quite a looker! I'm amped up in the shelter, but am really quite a different dog outside of it. Extremely smart, I literally hop to the ground when I see a treat and hear "down". This makes me a stellar candidate for training! They say I'm dog reactive, so I'd prefer a home without other animals.

Sweet Daisy is around 10 yrs old and blind, but that doesn't affect her perkiness and zest for life. She is pretty fearless and understands the lay of the land after bumping around a bit in a new place. She's housebroken, loves her food, and is a good travel companion. Daisy loves people and all animals. Due to her size, she'd probably thrive in a home with smaller pets and would do best with a senior or someone who works from home. She is currently in a foster home, so interested parties should contact the shelter to arrange an appointment to meet this sweetheart!

Hi, my name is Moon, and I'm a gorgeous young German Shepherd. I'm somewhat bashful, and often retreat to the interior of the kennel when the shelter noise becomes too much for me. If you're looking for a guard dog, I'm probably not your girl, but if you'd prefer a loving family dog that adores belly rubs, look no further! Volunteers say that it just takes a few minutes of sitting with me in the kennel to win my trust, followed by me plopping down for a snuggle. I am housebroken and likely would get along with other family pets, given my sweet and submissive nature. Please come down to the shelter to meet me soon!

Hi there, my name's Cash, and I'm a spunky, young doxie. Fun fact: the breed was developed over 300 years ago in Germany to hunt badgers, and their name reflects this. Dachs = Badgers + Hund = Dog - literally a 'Badger Dog". I love walks, and my volunteer bestie has trained me to walk right by her side (...and yeah, a treat or two might have been involved to fine-tune my "heel"!). I also occasionally walk with my canine pals at the shelter and do my business right after getting out of my kennel, leading volunteers to believe I'm housebroken. I'd be a good fit for a family with older kids and my compact size makes me the perfect companion for any adventure!
