For Belle’s Sake Rescue/Rehabilitation Mission Statement

For Belle’s Sake Rescue and Rehabilitation is an all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs and cats, from high-kill shelters. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We are committed to providing the dogs and cats that come to For Belle’s Sake Rescue and Rehabilitation with the best possible care while they wait for their forever homes by acclimating them to life outside of a shelter with basic obedience training and rehabilitation through positive reinforcement, and providing the appropriate veterinary care needed, to include spay and neuter. We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on the need for spaying and neutering and do our best to break down the stereotypes of many “bully” breeds.
