The mission of Friends Forever Humane Society is to provide a temporary home for stray, unwanted, and abused companion animals of Northwest Illinois. To create an aware and caring society by educating the public in the humane care and treatment of animals, to promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation, and to promote animal welfare throughout the county. Friends Forever Humane Society is a non-for-profit companion animal welfare organization, not an animal rights organization. We do not take a stand on hunting furs, or other animal rights issues. We remain focused on the welfare of companion animals. Friends Forever Humane Society and the Friends Forever Public Dog Park do not receive funding from city, state, or county taxes.
